The 36th annual Race Across America is underway — with the majority of riders on the eastern border of Kansas.
The ultra-cyclist challenge takes riders from around the globe, treking more than 3,000 miles, starting in California and ending in Maryland.
The event raises money for charity.
Cyclists head over mountains and rivers, including some right here in the Ozarks.
There are several water stations in Missouri, the closest ones in our area are Weaubleau and Camdenton.
Another group of team riders are currently in Colorado tonight.
