LAKE OZARK, Mo. – UPDATE: The results of the toxicology reports show the death of Kourtney and Anand Torres were due to Acute Fentanyl intoxication, according to Capt. Chris Twitchel. The Camden County Sheriffs Office considers this a closed case.
UPDATE: According to Capt. Chris Twitchel, an autopsy is scheduled with the Southwest Forensic Center in Springfield Wednesday, Nov. 13. A cause of death will be released as soon as the results of the autopsy and toxicology are done.
The manner and cause of death is still being withheld pending results of tests and further investigation. The toxicology could take several weeks for results.
Police are investigating the death of a male and a female in Lake Ozark.
Anand Torres, 41, and Kourtney Torres, 29, of Lake Ozark were found at a residence near Racquet Club Drive on Sunday.
According to Capt. Chris Twitchel, this is still an ongoing investigation.
