SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – With Earth Day coming up, we continue our conversation surrounding the environment.
Coming up next week, there will be two presentations at the Library Center about water quality in the Ozarks.
Todd Parnell will be leading one presentation and will be a part of a panel in the second one.
Todd Parnell is an author and environmental advocate, former president of Drury University, founder of THE BANK in Springfield and co-founder of White River Basin Foundation, and retired chairman of the Missouri Clean Water Commission.
His first presentation is titled Life’s a River. It’s on Tuesday, April 23 at 7 at the Library Center.
Todd will talk about his personal experience with the Buffalo River and his new book “Pig Farm.”
The panel on Thursday, April 25, is at 7:00 p.m. at the Library Center. It’s titled “Living Ozarks: Our History and Legacy to Future Generations.
Themes discussed will include land use and natural resources.
