OZARK, Mo- Ozark High School will be participating in an active shooter DRILL Thursday morning.
Once again, this is just a drill but will provide the school and first responders with valuable training if one were to ever occur.
Roads near the school will be shut down as well.
Bluff Drive is the road that goes around Ozark High School, and that will be shut down at 8 a.m. by first responders.
Police, fire, medical, and emergency management will be treating this as an active shooter situation.
However once again, this is just a drill.
The school is out of session for summer and will not accessible to the public at this time.
There will be portrayed actors acting as victims, and that’s to give these first responders the best simulation possible.
They expect this to last until around 9:30 in which roads will be back open.
Once again, this a scheduled drill.
