One person dead in plane crash in Butler Missouri


BUTLER, Mo. — One person has died after a plane crash in Butler Missouri this morning.

The FAA says this plane crashed into a grain silo just northeast of the Butler Memorial Airport.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that the pilot, who was the only one onboard, was killed in the crash. 

Their name has not been released at this time.

The plane departed from Vero Beach, Florida and was on route to Butler Airport, according to the FAA.
