BRANSON, Mo. — The National Transportation Safety Board announced in a press release on July 27 they have completed the initial review of the Duck Boat Digital Video Recorder System.

The recording device, including an SD card and removable hard drive, was recovered by divers on the amphibious vehicle before the boat was taken out of the water and immediately brought to Washington.

There were five channels of video recorded. Four outward facing, one inward facing and audio as well.

Included in these recordings, the crew was told to take the water portion of the tour first and the captain made a verbal reference to the weather radar.
