Nixa Bank Robbery Suspect Turns Himself in

NIXA, Mo. — The suspect in the robbery of Arvest Bank in Nixa turned himself in on Monday, according to the Public Information Officer for the City of Nixa, Drew Douglas,

A warrant for Kendrick Calhoun was issued July 15 after he was suspected of robbing the bank in the Nixa Walmart.

According to police, around 5:49 p.m. on July 11, the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note. No weapon was displayed.

The suspect then fled on foot through the grocery side of the Walmart.

Calhoun was charged with second degree robbery and stealing $750 or more.

An attorney is not listed for him in online court records. No hearings have been scheduled yet.
