U.S. — A chicken factory says it will expand its efforts to protect workers by giving thousands of COVID-19 tests each week at its 140 United States facilities.

Tyson Foods will begin randomly testing employees even if they don’t show symptoms in addition to the daily screenings employees go through when they arrive at work.

According to the Associated Press, the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union say other meat processing companies should follow Tyson’s lead.
