TULSA, Ok. — The search ended for an Oklahoma woman accused of stabbing one of her daughters more than 50 times and leaving her to die.
“The nine-year-old sibling of the 11-year-old stated that earlier in the evening that the mother had duct-taped their hands, put socks in their mouths and then began stabbing the 11-year-old,” Jeannie Mckenzie of Tulsa Police said.
Tulsa police found this woman, 39-year-old Taheerah Ahmad after an amber alert.
The alert went out Monday night after Ahmad and one of her daughters went missing.
She had left her other two daughters, bound and gagged, inside her home which police say she set on fire.
The youngest child was able to escape and get help while her sister lay in the burning home bleeding to death.
That child remains in critical condition.
Ahmad confessed she didn’t like the way her children were reading books so she attacked them.
