Missouri Wins Multi-Million Dollar Early Childhood Education Grant


Missouri has won a $6.5 million early childhood education grant.

The money was awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The grant will be used to fund the Stronger Together Missouri project, whose goal is to implement a comprehensive birth to kindergarten entry needs assessment, as well as the state’s Early Childhood Strategic Plan on sustainability in early childhood services.
