Missouri Senators, Governor request federal aid to help flooding damages

Mo. — Missouri’s Federal Congressional Delegation is asking the president for help.

Senators Blunt and Hawley, and all eight representatives sent a letter to the White House supporting Gov. Parson’s request for a Federal Disaster Declaration.

The request covers 13 counties in northern Missouri affected by the historic flooding that caused roughly $25 million in damages.

A declaration would help those counties access federal resources for recovery.
