Missouri Senate passes Abortion Bill, heading to House

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri is closer to establishing a new law that would restrict abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected.

The bill would also ban abortions except in the cases of medical emergencies.

The house will take a final vote on the issue before it goes to Governor Parson who is supportive of the plan.

The State Legislature has until the end of the day Friday to get this bill off to the Governor.
