CAMDENTON, Mo. — A Department of Conservation agent says a poacher cut off the best pieces of meat off 5 deer carcasses and one turkey, before dumping them near Camdenton.
The Springfield News-Leader says the department received several calls last month from people who spotted the dumped remains.
One agent estimated that roughly 100 pounds of meat was wasted.
No leads yet on finding who did it, but the department is asking for help if you know anything about the dumping.
