Missouri Governor closes State Capitol

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Also today, March 23, Missouri Governor Mike Parson announced the State Capitol is closed.

He also announced he’s allowing restaurants to sell unprepared food, this was previously not allowed.

Parson said this should help with the demand for food in the state but pointed out, the empty shelves are a matter of demand not supply because people are overbuying.
