Missouri DNR still working on recent gas leak in Seymour

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– Wendell Hall with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources says his team is still working to learn how gasoline is getting into a sewer line on Frances Street in Seymour Missouri.

Though they’ve tried several methods, including ripping up parts of Frances Street, they’ve been unable to locate the source of the leak.

The team plans to continue drilling around the sewer, with hopes of finding how gasoline is getting in.

The crew will do some sampling and prepare electrical for their electrical fan that will replace their ventilating system tomorrow (12/12/2019).
