Measles outbreak is now in 28 different states

U.S. — The US Measles outbreak is showing no sign of letting up.

According to the CDC, the number of cases nationwide now stands at 11,230, across 28 states.

That’s up 14-cases from the week before.

It also marks the greatest number of Measles cases reported in the country since 1992.

The centers for disease control and prevention says Measles can be prevented with a vaccine, which it calls quote “very safe and effective.”
