Yahoo wants to sell-off more than 3,000 patents that could be worth more than $1 billion. Yahoo will hold onto another 2,000 of its patents in the U.S. and abroad. At the same time the company is weighing offers for its internet operations – including email.
Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall of several varieties of Rold Gold Pretzels because of peanut residue. Last week, Hostess recalled 700,000 cases of snack cakes and doughnuts for the same reason. Both companies say flour from a supplier included the peanut parts.
And meet Edwin the world’s first “smart duck”. He comes with a remote control, motion sensors, and blue tooth technology. Edwin can quack, blow whistles and sing lullaby’s. Kids can use a connected app to play games, music or read stories. And Edwin can even work as a regular rubber ducky, floating in the tub. The price tag: $100.
