Main roads clear, caution still needed on side roads in the Springfield area

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Thursday morning’s snow isn’t going anywhere as temperatures continue to tumble in the Ozarks. OzarksFirst has crews on the roads, and the main roads are fairly clear, mostly wet and slushy.

However, less-traveled roads, and especially streets in neighborhoods are still covered. MoDOT’s travel map shows most roads are partially to completely covered in the Ozarks.
