SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Macy’s received four reports of handles on Martha Stewart’s cake and knife server sets breaking, causing cuts – some required stitches.

On Friday, the company put out a recall.

According to a news release from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handles on the Martha Stewart Collection Whiteware cake knife and server can break and pose a laceration hazard.

The knife and server each are about 11 inches long with white, textured ceramic handles and were sold nationwide and online between January 2014 and July 2015 for about $25 at Macy’s.

Military Exchanges also sold the products for $15.

According to the release, “UPC 608356963330 and Product ID PRCDCKSRVR are printed on the product packaging.”

If you bought this product, return it immediately for a full refund.

You can call Macy’s at 888-257-5949 for more assistance or visit the company’s website.
