News

JEFFERSON CITY – Nine days from now, Governor Parson will be on an official vacation.

The Saint Louis Post- Dispatch reports Missouri’s lieutenant governor, Mike Kehoe, will be given the power the governor has during that time.

Kehoe will be able to sign legislation on Parson’s behalf, but he won’t be able to pardon prisoners.

Governor Parson will resume his full duties when he returns from vacation in early July.
