Mrs. Ford declined an interview on camera, but was visibly upset as she recounted what happened.  She tells KOLR10 News her husband was employing some help on their farm and they had dealt recently with an unreliable worker.

She also said that her husband was one of the nicest people and always offered to help others.

Linda Ford’s sister, Sharon Routh, did speak with KOLR10 News.  “My sister is the one taking it so, so hard,” she said.  “It’s hard for me.  I’m going to miss him so much,” she said through tears.

“My sister was shocked when she found him.  She thought he’d fallen and hemorrhaged.  She had no clue he had been stabbed until the coroner and them told her.  It was a shock to all of us about it.  It still is.  Just can’t comprehend it.”

Investigators have processed the house as a crime scene and are asking for anyone with information to call the Dallas County Sheriff’s office at 345-2441.
