Walmart shooting in Ferguson leaves officer shot

FERGUSON, Mo. — Police in Saint Louis County are looking for the man who shot an off-duty officer at a Walmart in Ferguson, Missouri Feb. 16.

The officer confronted the shooter about shoplifting.

He was working security at the store and was in uniform when he approached the man.

The man shot the officer several times and is now recovering at a hospital.

He is expected to survive.
