Traffic backed up approximately 2 miles on James River Freeway

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — According to Ozarks Traffic, westbound James River Freeway is closed with an estimated two miles worth of traffic due to an accident at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17.

Springfield Police say they are diverting the Westbound traffic from James River Freeway onto Campbell Avenue.

There are no confirmed injuries on the accident.
