AVA, Mo.– An Ava teenager is dead after a car crash on Christmas Eve.
The 14-year-old teenager was a passenger in a car travelling on Highway 1-81, when the vehicle slid off the road and hit a tree. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver has suffered moderate injuries.
