Springfield leader’s efforts to end the opioid crisis

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Leaders in Springfield are working to address the developing opioid crisis.

Tonight, we’re looking into efforts to educate young people about the dangers of opioids.

The Boys and Girls Club of Springfield is receiving state-funding to focus on drug prevention efforts.

We’re also learning about what Springfield public school leaders are doing.
