Springfield Fire Department releases second quartly report of 2021

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Fire Department responded to nearly 2,800 calls for services including 36 structure fires.

The department also installed 167 smoke alms, promoted nine staff members, assisted with COVID-19 vaccine clinics, and saw progress on a project to rebuild Fire Station 4 on East Kearney all during the second quarter of 2021.
