REEDS SPRING, Mo. – Reeds Spring High School was on lockdown after a social media threat was made.

UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted, according to school officials.

The district says they would like to thank law enforcement for their quick response and students and staff for their cooperation.

Reeds Spring High School went on lockdown after a social media threat was made Thursday morning.

According to a release by the school district, the high school and several other buildings were on lockdown as a precaution while law enforcement investigated.

The school says all students and staff are safe.

According to a news release by the school, “The student who made the threat will face appropriate discipline according to school policy.”
