SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — One person was killed in a crash at West Bypass and Grand Street in Springfield Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the scene just before 5:30 p.m.

Northbound traffic on West Bypass was closed while officers investigated the cause of the crash, but it reopened around 8:00 p.m.

The truck driver was not hurt.
