Missouri Governor activates National Guard in case of civil unrest

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Governor Mike Parson activated the Missouri National Guard as a precautionary measure in response to civil unrest across the country.

The Governor says he fully supports the right of citizens to peacefully protest and is committed ot protecting the right.

This proactive approach, according to Governor Parson, will be beneficial if local law enforcement needs assistance.
