SPRINGFIELD, Mo.– As powerful storms danced across I44 Tuesday afternoon, they brought with them a lot of rain and flood water.
The water covered many of Northeastern Springfield’s streets and even caused some major flooding in bridge underpasses.
Governor Parson issued a state of emergency on Tuesday partly because of this excessive rainfall.
There were several water rescues across the Ozarks due to these intense rains.
Near Joplin, three people were rescued from flood water that started rolling in Monday night.
