FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. — The Bikes, Blues and Barbecue Festival has roared into town.
But if you’re headed there to attend, there’s a first-time addition to the festival.
The Ink and Art in the Ozarks Expo is Fayetteville’s first live tattoo and art expo.
The event highlights tattoo artists from northwest Arkansas. There are also some special guests who have competed on tattoo reality shows.
Tina Archer, one of the planners who made the expo happen, said it highlights the changing culture in Fayetteville.
“Now that we kind of have a progressive art scene and things are getting a little funkier here in Fayetteville, I think at this point and time is when we can get this together and pull it off,” Archer said.
The Bikes, Blues and Barbecue Festival, along with the Art and Ink Expo, continues through Sept 29.
