Lebanon’s Night Watch Program Pays Off

Rev Steve Heather KOLR

LEBANON, Mo. — The Lebanon Police Department says it’s night watch program is paying off.

Over-night officers are stepping up efforts to protect businesses and communities in the area.

When officers check on a business they write down who they are, what they saw, and if they had any security issues.

Just recently, an officer scared off a suspect who was trespassing.

The night watch program aims to prevent burglaries before they even happen.

The department says there’s no need to enroll in the program, as officers already patrol the entire city at night.
