Lebanon CPA is convicted after scheming to defraud employer and clients


LEBANON, Mo. – A jury has convicted a Lebanon CPA of a $7,000,000 scheme to defraud his employer and clients.

46-year-old Douglas Richardson was found guilty on all 10 counts, including wire fraud and money laundering.

Court documents say Richardson transferred over $4,000,000 from his employer’s bank accounts into his personal and business bank accounts.

A sentencing hearing has not been scheduled.
