SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The 23rd Annual Bowl-A-Thon to benefit The Kitchen was hosted in Springfield Sunday.

The fundraiser is hosted by the Knights of Columbus who say every cent earned stays here to help the local homeless.

The group had high hopes for the event trying to reach a milestone over the last 2 decades.

“We have a goal of $60,000 and if we’re close to that goal this year, it’s our hope that it will take us over the $1 million mark for money raised in the last 23 years,” said John Gambon of the Knights of Columbus.

Today’s event took place at both Enterprise Lanes in Springfield and Century Lanes in Nixa.
