Kickapoo students and faculty back in class after fire scare

SPRINGFIELD, MO.– Students at Kickapoo were asked to leave the school building for a supposed fire earlier this morning. 

Springfield Public Schools Chief Communications Officer, Stephen Hall said that after inspection, there were no flames and just smoke that was coming from an elevator pump. Crews are now repairing that pump 

All students and faculty are back inside continuing the school. No one was harmed during the incident.
