DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. – Two men have charges dropped in relation to the double murder of Joe and Brandy Allen in Dallas County last month.

Kody Wilson and Cody DePriest each had their charge of ‘abandonment of a corpse’ dropped during their preliminary hearings.

Jason Coatney, Wilson’s lawyer, says 2 witnesses were called at his hearing in Dallas County, but no facts were presented to support the charge against Wilson.

A judge found no probable cause of a crime.

Wilson still faces a charge of hindering the prosecution.

Two other men, Billy Sage Medley and Jeffrey Stevenson, are still considered the murder suspects.

Stevenson has been granted a change of judge for his case. The judge will be chosen at a later date.

Medley has a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 7 at 11 a.m.

Authorities say the Allen’s were shot outside their home by Medley ans Stevenson during an attempted robbery on September 30, 2018.
