NEW YORK – Jet Blue says due to the recent corporate tax cut, the company will give its employees $21 million worth in bonuses.
Each of Jet Blue’s 21,000 employees will get a $1,000 bonus – except for the CEO and executive vice presidents.
The company says the bonuses will be paid out by the end of February.
The tax cut that went into effect Monday slashes the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.
Other airlines have announced similar bonuses.
American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are also giving $1,000 bonuses to all employees.
