BRANSON, Mo. – A non-profit organization in Branson called “Jesus Was Homeless” celebrated it’s 10th-year-anniversary.
The group tries to help those who need it most in Branson.
Tuesday’s open house featured an art gallery, called “Behind the Billboards”, which captured the everyday life of the working poor and gives viewers a glimpse of life for those living in poverty.
The photographer, Henry Head, says, “I wanted to confront the darker parts or the shadow of Branson, and spread awareness of these people as individuals and not just statistics. I feel for the first time, I understand my hometown, and I’ve lived here for 16 years.”
