Japanese Mechanical Dinosaurs Play in Record Snow

JAPAN–Several mechanical dinosaurs arose with a thick coat of snow at the Fukui  Dinosaur Museum in Fekui Prefecture, Japan on Wednesday (February 7).

Footage shows several of the museum’s dinosaurs appearing to groan at the snow.

Heavy snowfall in central Japan brought road traffic to a standstill on Tuesday (February 6).

Snow reached 54 inches in Fukui prefecture, 200 miles west of Tokyo. It is the heaviest snowfall in nearly four decades in the region, a local meteorological observatory said.
