Springfield convenience store robbed at gunpoint, suspect on the loose

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A robbery investigation is currently underway in Springfield.

The robbery happened at the White Oak Station convenience store on West Walnut and Scenic.

The suspect is a man around 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hoodie and a mask, as well as sunglasses and blue jeans.

According to Springfield Police, the man had a gun and demanded money.

No one was injured.

The suspect was initially seen on foot, however, the police do not know if he had a vehicle and are still looking for him.

At the time of the robbery, there was only one worker in the store and no one else was inside.

If anyone has information on the suspect’s whereabouts, they are urged to contact police.
