Iberia High School will have deputies on site after reported violent threat

IBERIA, Mo. — According to the Iberia School District, someone reported to the high school principal that a student had made a comment about making an act of violence at school.

Miller County Sheriff’s Department officials are involved and have assured the student will not be on school grounds while the investigation continues.

The school says there will be deputies on site tomorrow, Sept. 19, and that they are proud of their students for reporting and keeping everyone safe.
