Howell County Patrol Car Hit by Deer – Deputy Uninjured

WEST PLAIN, Mo. — A Howell County deputy was uninjured after a deer struck his patrol vehicle while he responded to a call. 

Howell County Deputy Paul Bradshaw was responding to a domestic disturbance report on County Road 6540 around 2:00 am this morning (12/4)  when a deer struck the driver’s side door of his 2015 Dodge Charger, according to a department report. 

Bradshaw pulled over and found the impact caused a small crease in the door.

The deer was seriously injured and was dispatched by the deputy’s firearm, according to the report.
