HOLLISTER, Mo. — Fire crews spent a long night fighting a fire that destroyed a large home in Hollister, Missouri.

Western Taney County Fire District spokesman Danny Rylott says fire teams were called out to the house on Big Bear Boulevard about 8:00 p.m.
Fire had already spread through much of the house when firefighters got there.

Rylott says no one was home at the time of the fire.  Fire crews were on the scene until about 2:00 a.m.

A state fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause.  No one was injured in the fire.
