Hollister Celebrates History with Grape and Fall Festival

HOLLISTER, Mo. — The city of Hollister celebrated its history in a fall-themed festival on Saturday.

A grape stomp was canceled because of the weather, but the festival still went on.

Hollister’s annual Grape and Fall Festival was held on historic Downing Street.

Despite some drizzle and low temperatures runners completed a  5k fun-run.

There was also some live entertainment, lots of food and craft vendors, a beer and a wine garden.

“You know, no matter if it rains or shines, we always have a wonderful time here at the Grape and Fall Festival,” Jim Barber, executive director of the Branson Regional Arts Council, said. “And it’s one of the biggest outdoor events of the season. Not only for Hollister but for the entire Branson region.”

The grape stomp will return next year.
