SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — For those that loved to eat at the historic Heritage Cafeteria, soon you’ll be able to relive those food memories with a new home-style cookbook.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that the cafeteria is slated to publish, “Heritage Family Favorite Recipes” in early December.
This new book will differ from their original recipe book that was released shortly after the cafeteria closed down.
It will feature more family and home-style recipes instead of portion sizes for a large kitchen.
The book will have roughly 50 recipes, including house favorites like macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and French silk pie. It will cost you $20.
