MOUNT VERNON, Mo. — A man from Mount Vernon facing several felony charges after allegedly ramming a patrol vehicle during a pursuit in Lawrence County waives his preliminary hearing and is bound over to circuit court for arraignment.
Thirty-five-year-old Jason Harvey remains in the Lawrence County Jail on 200-thousand dollars bond and is scheduled to return to court June 12th.
He is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of burglary and armed criminal action.
Harvey is implicated in two weekend burglaries back in March. According to the sheriff’s office, he attempted to elude officers during a pursuit that ended in his arrest.
Harvey reportedly ran a stolen vehicle into a deputy’s patrol car head-on before fleeing on foot.
