GREENE COUNTY, Mo. – Voters in Greene County have elected their next Presiding Commissioner.

Republican Bob Dixon received nearly 60 percent of the vote in defeating Democrat Sara Lampe.

Dixon is replacing outgoing Commissioner Bob Cirtin, whom he defeated in the Republican primary earlier this year.

Dixon has been a State Senator for the last 8 years and served as a State Representative before that.

Dixon will be sworn into office in January.
