Greene County Highway Department explains how costly it is to replace road signs

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — We’ve all seen damaged road signs, but today the Greene County Highway Department is explaining just how costly it can be to replace those.

It costs over $100 to replace road signs that are stolen or damaged.

Greene County manages about 20,000 signs.

The highway department says this also creates a safety risk for drivers and road workers.
