FT. LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — Google is helping those with ties to the military base find jobs after their service.
The mega-corporation is doing so in multiple ways.
One is allowing service members to use a specialty code in Google search to find jobs matching their skill sets.
Another is allowing locally-owned veterans businesses to stand out, in searches and Google Maps.
And, Google will provide a $2.5 billion grant which will help military personnel, their spouses and veterans transitioning out of service and gain an IT support professional certificate.
