Gateway, Arkansas infant flown to hospital after reported drowning

GATEWAY, Ark. (KNWA) – A Northwest Arkansas infant was flown to a hospital after being pulled out of a body of water by Gateway City Park in Benton County.

Emergency responders were called to the park at around 3 p.m. Monday regarding a possible drowning.

The infant was flown to an undisclosed local hospital, according to Shannon Jenkins with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

No further details were provided as of 5:45 p.m.
